What is considered appropiate treatment for children and adults with Attachment Disorder, or attachment issues?
For children, effective therapy requires a team approach which must always
include the child's parents. The following treatment
interventions are offered through the Institute for Child and Family Development:

heal from the emotional wounding which results from living
with a rage-filled child

Assistance with obtaining funding for treatment and, if
needed, out-of-home placement
For adults, therapy may include significant others to whom the client learns to attach. Treatement interventions include, but are not
limited to, the following:
